THE FOLLOWING CHANGES HAVE BEEN MADE TO THE UTILITIES ORDINANCE EFFECTIVE 9/10/2018.
Your utility bill is due upon
receipt. If payment is not received by
the 15th of each month, a late charge of $10.00 will be applied to your account. THE CITY WILL NO LONGER SEND DELINQUENT NOTICES.
your payment is not received by the 1st of each month, your utilities are subject to disconnection. Once utilities have been disconnected, the entire balance must be paid, including a reconnection fee. Reconnection fees are as follows:
First time reconnect within a 24-month period: $50.00
Second time reconnect within a 24-month
Third time reconnect within a 24-month period: $200.00
Each subsequent violation beyond the
third reconnect within a 24-month period will result in a reconnection fee
increase of $100.00 from the previous violation.The City reserves the right to
reconnect your water service once payment is received in full at our next
available service time which could be up to the following business day by 4:00 p.m.
Returned check/e-check fees for any
item returned by your financial institution for any reason is $35.00 plus any
fees charged by our financial institution.
